Captain Steuart holds an RYA Yacht master certificate and has experience as a boat builder, delivery captain, race skipper, sailing instructor, including several trans-Atlantic crossings. He has a passion for diving and is a PADI Instructor. Chef/hostess Fran earned degrees in Human Communications and Psychology and is a licensed social worker and English teacher. She worked in the catering business in hotels and restaurants for several years in many parts of the world. She is also a PADI dive instructor, especially good with kids and new divers. They are two of our closet friends. You'll love them.

Kevin Oke Photography offers stock images primarily from British Columbia, Canada and France, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Costa Rica and Mexico. Beautiful photography. Kevin also assisted in the photography for the Ogden Point Breakwater panels which a beautiful aerial of Goldstream Estuary.

Phillip Colla

Phillip Colla is a natural history photographer focusing on wild marine mammals, the California kelp forest, inhabitants of remote eastern Pacific islands, National Parks of the American West and, most recently, waves. Phillip also assisted me in the development of the Ogden Point interpretive signage with his beautiful images

Christina Craft

Christina Craft travels extensively to capture wildlife in its natural surroundings. She has won several awards and has received international recognition for her wildlife and nature photography work. Christina hails from Victoria on Vancouver Island in British Columbia (B.C.), Canada. Christina also assisted in the photography for the recent Ogden Point Enhancement Society interpretive signage project.

Gulf Islands National Park Reserve

Established in 2003, Gulf Islands National Park Reserve safeguards a portion of British Columbia’s beautiful southern Gulf Islands archipelago. These islands are representative of the Strait of Georgia Lowlands, one of the most ecologically at risk natural regions in southern Canada. This small park reserve includes thirty-five square kilometres of land and intertidal area on fifteen islands, numerous islets and reefs, and approximately twenty-six square kilometres of marine areas which provide valuable habitat for seals and nesting shorebirds.
