OCEAN CONSERVATION

Conservation means different things to different people. I believe that everyone can do their piece but my prevailing interests have always been the ocean.

So, in keeping with the name, Ocean's Edge, the basic conservation issues we will be sharing on this site generally pertain to the ocean and it's environment.

On our links page, we have added several other environmental and conservation societies which do wonderful work. Please take a moment to browse through those links to find something which may interest you.

I have been interested in the water since I was a child and increasingly as I get older. In 1998, after almost 20 years of working in the marketing field, I chose to break free to some degree, complete my Master Scuba Diver Trainer certification and purchase a piece of property along the coast of Belize with the dream of building a small dive operation. in 2004, we chose to sell the property.

This web site has been designed so I can work offering vacations to locations which I believe offer great dive and sail vacation and also teach guests about ocean conservation. That has been my deciding factor when choosing a spot to work with.

On the pages within this section, I have made efforts to add information which is of interest to me and hopefully, to you as well.
